In practice, oil leakage during service occurs at two separate locations on the engine: the front of the cylinder head (where the HPOP lines connect and the IAPR valve is mounted) and the rear of the valley (where the injector oil supply manifold and the return line fittings are located). A single oil collector placed in one position cannot cover both leak zones simultaneously-oil from the front will miss a rear‑placed tray, and vice versa.
